Customs: Russian aluminum exports falls 43.1% to 172,000 tns Apr
MOSCOW, Jun 6 (PRIME) -- Russia’s aluminum exports decreased 43.1% on the month to 172,000 tonnes in April, the Federal Customs Service said on Wednesday.
In monetary terms, aluminum exports fell 45.6% to U.S. $325.9 million in the month.
In January-April, exports rose 15.7% on the year to 1.013 million tonnes in volume terms and dropped 41.9% to $1.952 billion in monetary terms.
Copper exports grew 20.1% to 223,900 tonnes worth $1.536 billion, a 46.5% increase.
Nickel exports went down 7.2% to 44,600 tonnes with the cost rising 29.4% to $597.8 million.
